On Brick Lane by Rachel Lichtenstein is a portrait of one of the East End's most famous streets. It uses research, interviews, poetry and photography from a wide range of people, including the Yiddish, Bengali and artist communities to tell the story of the area.
Our film focuses on the transient nature of the populations passing through the area. The entire narrative to our film is solely based on extracts from the book of the quotes from members of the community.
